Why Vote Trump?
How can you vote for someone that hasn't found a lie or exaggeration he doesn't like. Your making a lot of assumptions that he actually stands for anything he says. Literally denies tweets he's posted days before. Not, people that work for him or variations on how things are presented. out right lies and lots of them.
Next, there is the undying allegiance he expects of all his worshipers...
1. fire all the generals 2. viciously attacks anyone that remotely challenges him. 3. abandoned long standing treaties.
As for owning the "freerepublic" domain you might want to ask yuorself how you can reconcile free market principles and tilted trade deals.
"He’ll stop making dependence on government pay better than working for a living. He’ll build an economy that will help create the jobs people need to break the chain of poverty that keeps people dependent on government."
Dependency on government pay isn't the government's problem. It's the economies problem. If you're going to tell roughly half of all American's you're only going to give them a job that pays $8/hr with no health insurance or vacation time then be prepared to have that offer shoved up your ass. It's 2016. If 90% of your companies payroll goes to 2% of it's staff but your secretary can't afford her car insurance maybe we should be looking at instituting a maximum wage instead of forlothing the minimum wage and cutting back on welfare (which is pennies on the dollar compared to what banks, telecoms, and pharmas get in subsidies). If Trumpeters want to be taken seriously they should get out some textbooks and educate themselves rather than just throwing their half-baked and decades old conservative values at everyone hoping it sticks.
(OP) Many of my friends ask: "How can a reasonable/smart/principled/etc. person vote for Trump despite his obvious flaws?"
My only answer to date centered around the forgotten middle class. Here's one voter's more expanded view.
