In our company sometimes there are some problems with either DNS, or the router losing DHCP leases and failing to renew them, whatever. So we as the IT department came up with the simplest possible solution that does not require us getting into a train and going to the office to fix the issue. Every employee can solve 99% of the internet/intranet related problems themselves.
