Ask HN: Is there a Omegle but for smart People?

Smart might be a Vague term but I would love to hear ideas from people from all sorts of backgrounds (tech and nontech) who are ambitious and knowledgeable. I currently live in 3rd world country and the internet helps me keep partially up to date but we often only see the finished accomplishments of people/firms but not the journey of such people/firms that goes into their success Are there any existing platforms that foster such a community? I don't think it is very hard to build and run such a service if it does not exist already. In my humble opinion, You will have Low Traffic as you are gatekeeping(professional emails allowed only, Approved emails, etc) thus leading to elevated quality and low costs.
