Ask HN: Temporary workarounds while GitHub is offline?
Assuming you work in an office where tools such as Github are actively used
github.com is being served to me, but without a css (wow, github is now a motherfuing website!)
So i can't reach the cdn...
So no A record... You could install Gitlab locally and use that in case of an outage. In my case I just push to two of them.
Gitlab.com, I completely switched over an no longer use github.
add the following to your /etc/hosts file:
