Mobile input methods?

I'm curious if anyone has experience with the Twiddler3 or other one handed keyboards. I'd like to be able to take notes or write while walking without the embarassment having to talk to myself. It also seems, that we are on the verge of a AR becoming a reality so becoming comfortable with such a tool would be handy.
