Everything is well reasoned up to two thirds into the essay where out of the blue, Einstein springs the following jewel on us:

"Man can find meaning in life, short and perilous as it is, only through devoting himself to society."

Really?

You are going to assert this with no proof?

Once you start with a flawed premise all subsequent argument is garbage. This essay was a sad day for an otherwise brilliant man.
