Sync is a great example of how more secure doesn't always have to mean inconvenient. I've been using it for something like a decade and it's always been very straightforward to sign into it on my devices - they actually made the flow easier at some point in the recent past by letting you input an authorization code on the new device to link it up with an existing one.

Everybody look here at why this is just Mozilla PR-speak. A truly secure solution would not rely on remotely delivered JavaScript for password hashing and authentication!
