It's called "extraterritorial rendition" or "extraordinary rendition" and it IS kidknapping and the US Gov't does it all the time.

But it is unlikely they get away with it in Russia or China - - where the police state apparatus watches American agents closely.

And all these recent FBI arrests on US soil of Chinese professors and citizens stealing tech secrets ?

You can bet that the CCP agents are arresting just as many - - - if not more - - of innocent American businessmen in China. They know quite well that someday there will be a swap, like a spy swap, where each side offers up trades.

Unfortunately, certain innocent Americans will loose many years of their freedom, maybe even their health.
