Apple to make ten million fewer iPhones due to micro chip shortage

  • Suppliers have reportedly denied this (https://www.macrumors.com/2021/10/13/apple-suppliers-iphone-...). We'll see if Bloomberg or DigiTimes was right.

  • That’s the sort of rumour that’s going to benefit scalpers, and Apple as inventory get snatched quickly.

  • This sounds incredibly unlikely, but very much a thing market manipulators would like investors to believe.

  • Or 4% less (250M planned for 2022, which is apparently 10M short), not a lot to see here.

  • Producing less would be a real sign of saving our Planet and make a difference, but instead everyone is pacing for the opposite! Humanity is lost i think!
