It seems that the project is in a very early stage, so far (if the roadmap is up to date), only a bit of bootloading works.

Building a multi-server OS based on L4 is certainly interesting, but I wonder if the project spends too much time implementing legacy support, e.g. for 16-bit compatibility (see the roadmap at http://osfree.org/doku/en:roadmap).
