Qt blocks Russian IP addresses for paying customers
Minor, possibly relevant fact: The company was started by conscientous objectors, and we set a policy to not market towards the weapon industry.
We decided that we'd accept orders from anyone and answer support mail, but not do anything at all to attract any army-related business. If someone were to send us a request for a quote, we'd answer the direct question but not even ask back later to check the status of the purchase process. And we'd do this quietly, because it's a matter of ethical everyday behaviour, not of marketing or grandstanding.
The policy was still in force some years after I left.
(We acted on our own beliefs. I notice that someone else here thinks they ought to block America, and posting on HN shows that he/she is not acting on his/her own beliefs.)

A lot of admins I know blocked Russian IP ranges a long time ago on all their servers.
Good. Russian is not a legitimate part of the world community anymore.
