This movie was panned on its initial release, probably because it was rushed to the box office and really needed a little more work/editing. The soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith is outstanding.

Wow, would have been nice to hear about this more than 15 minutes before showtime. :-D

I'd like to hear more about the edits. An article I found says it was done in 2001, but then rescanned? Need better info.
