Ok, so the tactic was that the side wall and the car chassis can take the impact so they just went flat out knowing that they could take more speed through the corner than they’d lose due to the drag?

It looks like they never lost control, and the wall is clearly designed to take much harder impacts, so I’m not sure how you make that illegal without saying tight racing near the wall runs the risk of instant disqualification?

Isn't this basically putting everyone's life at risk? I can't believe this is legal.

Beyond that, definitely awesome though

There should be a car body optimized for that, with some rubber-treaded rollers sticking out from the side.

I imagine this is getting ruled illegal before the next race!
