Apple’s Anti-Competitive Behavior Hurts Everyone
Charging taxes for participants in a market you create feels like a giant loophole through antiquated economic policy. There may have been a time where if you built a mall, it helped local communities briefly by attracting stores that otherwise didn't want to manage the full cost of operations themselves.
At this point of technology and society, incentivizing markets and market walling has lead to a tax on the creators of value and their consumers. Because regulators have allowed market owners to set their own tax rates, they have ceded control over what type of content and goods we have available through something like VAT.
Would it not be better for the market to have a fixed cap on market taxes? What is the argument against it?

Apple sucks! It's the IBM of 1984. I don't understand... why bigger companies don't form a group or something and immediately pull their apps all at once from the app store and then file legal case together against Apple... All you folks have to do is get together... Apple can't beat that.
