Ask HN: What Happened to ReasonML?
ReasonML looked to be a promising frontend language, and it had Facebook behind it.
However, not much is heard about it, particularly here on HN.
Is anyone using it? Is Facebook really using it, or was it just one group on one project?
It split to Rescript.
A shame really, the devs messed up the entire "reason" thingy, i think it could have been a success. But it went sideways. Today there is ReScript, ReasonML, Melange, Bucklescript, reason-native and probably a few other things i cant remember..
That said i decided to stay with OCaml, and JSOO for anything i need to compile to javascript.
