Show HN: Multiplayer ChatGPT

Hi there! We built an LLM interface for ourselves and figured it’s at a point where we should probably share it with others :)

We initially built ChatSeed to solve a few problems:

- Difficulty sharing prompts/responses, limited to copy/paste, screenshots, or browser extensions

- Editing conversations to “branch” was possible via “edit message”, but hard to reuse/track

- ChatGPT Plus has a token limit of 4096 tokens for GPT-4 (API has an 8k or 32k limit)[0]

Features

- Chat seeding — click the plant emoji to easily reuse part or all of an existing conversation

- Real-time multi-participant chats

- Chat URLs (link to chats, save seeds)

- Shared and hidden chats

Note: The “Shared” chats are public by default and “Self” chats are shareable by link. This is a demo, and subject to change at anytime, though the tool currently supports GPT-4 and GPT 3.5.
