On the other hand I'd argue that there is some really good stuff being done with AI generated content. Things like How is it Manifested (https://www.twitch.tv/howisitmanifested/) really show how far the envelope is being pushed with this stuff. Sure the prompts are short and they're not doing anything with the higher order generating capabilities. But it's two minute episodes across a range of subjects and that simple pan does a lot with the right background music and AI voice generation.
I think Rogen is speaking from a place of fear. He knows that this stuff is right around the corner and is far more interactive in its own way than traditional television.
