    The web/desktop version seems to be basically read only. Can't reply, sign up or anything. Can't even view a full user profile I think?. No home page either for me.

    EDIT: I was able to get in at ~19:25 ET.

    I'm assuming this was published as an embargo dropped. There was a countdown at https://www.threads.net which ended at 19:00 ET. That said, it doesn't seem to be live just yet, at least for me in Canada. The website is showing a 3D depiction of the logo and I see a "Coming soon" note on the App Store.
