Biological Children: An Innocent Wish?

  • We need to keep having biological children, or else there will be as many retired elderly as there are workers (though no country has gotten that bad yet). That's bad for the economy. South Korea is going to be the first to go through the worst of it.

Every developed country is experiencing birth rate declines, and all we can do about it is compete for skilled workers across countries and bring in an underclass of immigrants from Africa, where the birth rate is still high.

I also just don't think it's immoral to prefer having a child of your own blood if it's possible, or to prioritize your kith and kin above other people. Everyone does it to some extent. It's only bad when it goes to extremes, like nationalism, racism, or nepotism.
