Microsoft Security Research to Access Sentinel Data starting Dec 4

I just received the following update regarding Microsoft's data collection practices pertaining to Sentinel:

"We're changing how we collect data starting on 4 December 2023 You're receiving this message because one of your Microsoft Sentinel workspaces is opted-out to share the data with Microsoft security research.

Microsoft security research protects our customers against threats and attacks by delivering built-in state of the art detections, investigation tools, attack disruptions, and mitigations.

Building more accurate models requires diverse data sets and signals. Because of this, starting 4 December 2023 Microsoft security research will have access to your data to help build, test and optimize analytics models and detections.

More information The privacy and data handling commitments in the Microsoft Online Services Terms (OST) and Online Service Data Protection Addendum (DPA) apply.

Customers using Customer Managed Key (CMK) won't be affected by this change."
