Why I'm Switching to Linux Mint Debian Edition (LDME)
- Ubuntu snap store UI doesn't open half the time. Apps don't install half the time.
- I want to stay in debian ecosystem because installation instructions typically provide `.deb` files
- The LDME app store shows both flatpaks and deb apps. if you really need a snap, you can install it on debian.
- I also like apt packages more than yum. Plus nala looks like a great way to manage packages.
- I like mint's cinnamon UI more than stock gnome UI.
- People claim Linux Mint provides sensible drivers that default Debian does not. I want to be as close to debian as possible, but don't want config hassle.
