I wish this FS had wider use.

I wonder if a simple wrapper could be written to act as a legal go between? Ie the wrapper somehow matches with both licenses and possibly handles the download/compilation of the relevant ZFS release.

(Support for) One FS shared between almost all FOSS OSes seems like a huge boon.

Has very many modern features built in.

Has a huge amount of history of support and commercial use/acceptance.

Maybe could act as catalyst for more ECC more places.
