• Yes. Texas the State is executing its statehood right to secure its borders which contradicts the Federal policy. Federal Administration through the SC has issued a reversal of Texas' securitization of its border by issuing National Guard order to remove barbwire. Texas in turn has reversed course and continue to put up barbwire fencing to protect its property and citizens from unauthorized access. Federal Administration now seeking to revoke rights of Texas to use its designated National Guard.

  • Quite a complex situation. Texas/Nevada/Florida are having a huge influx of illegal immigration. Most of these people will take the first bus out of these places to get to safer spots like sanctuary cities, but not all and it overwhelms the systems that they arent paying into, but are consuming resources from.

This is largely due to financial pressures upon south america and the way spheres of influence work. China buys about 1/3 of brazil's exports, and the american construction of brics means south america is melting down. Brazil's interest rates are high, but a strong balance of trade like this means their economics are doing well. Which is why Bolsanaro vs de silva was a huge deal. Obviously Venezuela vs Guyana are much the same discussion.

This leaves the rest of south america practically unlivable. Which is totally fine to the USA and Canada whose population pyramids need a magnitude higher level of immigration.

The people in south america thusly do whatever they can to get to a better place to live. This means driving convoys through checkpoints, mass crowds crossing borders, including swimming the rio grande and hoping you manage to get across without dying?

So now deal with the complexity. The federal government want this to happen. They could never deal with this many people in existing checks to ensure these people arent criminals. So it has to be illegal migration? Plus they are relatively picking sphere policies to cause this to happen. No question they want it to happen and why.

Texas who is dealing with the micro problems wants to secure the border. Which they passed a bill which is their right to do in a federalism republic right? But obviously the federal government doesnt want this to happen. Hence the conflict there. Biden ordered them to stop and sent troops to prevent texas from operating in texas?

The obvious breakdown is optics here, it's the federal government's job to put up the barb wire, not take it down. But again, it's what they want. They want huge immigration numbers of mostly younger folks.

I dont see it as an invasion by a hostile nation or host army. These are people seeking a better life.

Last I saw, 20+ states have sent their national guard to help texas? Primarily republican states? But you would make a mistake in seeing this 1 dimensionally.

Texas doesnt need anyone's help to secure their border, they need the federal government to do their job OR allow them to do their job. What these other 20 states to actually doing is displaying support. Support for what? and why this year?

This time around, it's not likely to be south carolina first. Texas will lead the cotton states into secession. If texas secedes, their problem with the federal government goes away. Though obviously being united is a superior position.

But more importantly, lets get to more complexity. democrats trying to remove trump and a multitude of other republicans from the ballots is literally the same discussion. Mind you there have been a dozen rulings already against the democrats. Maine for example, an unelected partisan democrat gets to decide who the republicans get to vote for?

These are all reasonable sources for the discussion we're really having right now. Democrats see it as civil war. Republicans from what I can tell don't see it that way. I also don't see it that way; I'm an outside observer.

Ive been targetted to be censorred and am now shadow banned. Thanks for all the fish.
