Ask HN: 20-year-old Canadian w/o a degree offered 100K+ in SF. Visa advice?

Hi guys,

I deferred University to pursue a bunch of opportunities that came up -- working in China, starting a business, and now getting an offer in SF (a lot of it was luck, so not saying that the no Uni path is for everyone).

This is from a very notable company(maybe a degree away from google-level), but their law firm says that I won't be able to obtain a visa because of the degree.

Is there an optimal path I can take to resolve this, or is the best bet to go back to University?
