Of course the article is a spoof, but honestly, and despite being all of my professional life and passion, linux/unix are 40+ years old and are now crusty beyond belief. I don't think there's now anywhere in the entire edifice where you can find "the unix philosophy" well demonstrated, and to be quite honest, that's been the case from quite early on.

You shouldn't necessarily boycott linux, but you should boycott software that hard-depends on linux and won't run on non-linux systems. Just as with systemd.

I have mixed feelings about that.
